Sahara Apartments offers you more for less!
Dorm rooms at the UofA on average are 12’ by 13’, or 157 square feet.
Sahara’s studio apartments are 2 to 2.5 times the size of the typical UofA dorm room.
The majority of Sahara’s studio apartments are 24’ by 14’, or 336 square feet.
Often times residence halls have a community bathroom that is shared by everyone in that wing,
and if there are any kitchen facilities, they are community kitchens and not in the dorm room,
or even nearby. Sahara Apartments provides a full bath and a kitchen in every apartment.
Our rates are the same as the UofA dorms, except that we offer you 11.5 month leases while the
dorms only offer 8 months. The UofA requires that you vacate the dorm during
winter break (December 20- January 11), and you must vacate during the summer as
well. At Sahara Apartments you can stay year round.
