All above rates include the following:
• Apartment furniture including two twin sized beds, two desks, two chairs, and two 3-drawer dressers.
• Full bath furnished with two bath towels, two hand towels, two wash cloths, two boxes of tissues, and two bars of soap. Each bed comes with mattress cover, fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillow, pillow case, and a blanket and bedspread.
• Kitchen is furnished with dishes and silverware for four plus a basic set of pots and pans, and kitchen utensils.
• All apartments have a built-in bookshelf, kitchen cabinets, a hanging closet, hotel-style A/C and heat unit controlled by a thermostat located in the apartment.
• Maid Service is provided every Tuesday and Friday. Maids will change bed linens, supply fresh bath towels, restock paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, dish washing detergent, and empty the garbage. The service does not include washing dishes.
• All utilities are included in the above rates. Rooms do not have telephones. However, we have a telephone available at the office strictly for the use of the residents, with free calls to U.S. and Canada. International visitors needing to make International calls will be required to have International calling cards and can use our guest phone to make International calls with their calling cards.
• Each apartment includes 2 high-speed internet connections. Also, the entire property is on a wireless network for easy access to the Internet (accessibility to the WiFi network is not guaranteed from all locations on the property).
• Each apartment is equipped with a 14", CRT TV. Our satellite TV system has 30 Channels including 3 HBO movie channels. We have some DVD players that we can loan to guests on a nightly basis, if they want to watch a DVD in their apartments.
• Our recreation building has an exercise room, lounge, game room and a movie theater. The game room includes billiards, Xbox game rooms, and virtual golf. The movie theater seats 24, is equipped with a 103" screen, and surround sound. The movie theater system is hooked into a 250 channel satellite system, and is equipped with a DVD and VCR player.
• There is a pool, spa, and a green lawn area in a nicely landscaped interior courtyard.
• Our property is secured with 80 security cameras monitoring and recording events in public areas on a 24/7 basis. There is also a perimeter fence topped with an infra-red beam that sounds an alarm if someone climbs over. All buildings and rooms have a monitored smoke detection system and a fire sprinkler system.
• Please note that Sahara Apartments primarily provides dormitory style accommodations for university students. As such we do not allow carrying of open containers of alcoholic beverages anywhere on the premises other than in your own room.
• Smoking is only permitted on balconies & other open air areas.
